NY Fashion Week Special: Philosophy

Philosophy designed by Alberta Ferretti brought a splash of color to what is turning out to be a very ”white-themed” NY fashion week. This collection is a mixture of Eastern fashion meets crazy and colorful prints.  Super-short dresses and tunics in vibrant colors complimented printed platfoms, even the carpet got in on the action. Overall I really liked this collection, it’s a nice change from the minimalistic white, black and beige looks that are taking over the Spring 2011 catwalks, more about that later..

I love the colours! I too really dislike the ‘fashionable’ colours right now, or better: the lack there of. It’s all pastels and cremes and whites, and all I want to do is wear bright pinks and yellows and blues. The middle outfit would be perfect for my mood right now.
